"The party" refers to the four player characters (Draven, Black, Angel and Little One), along with any guest players (Zaheer, Krillidin), leadership followers (Mahar, Mora, Rainbowdash) and random hangers-on (Liz, Daggerface, Half-Orc Guy, GE-7).
Various actual names have been suggested, including "The Liberators" and "The Orc-slayer and his merry band", but none of them have stuck.
History[]
Prior to TDDC[]
Draven and Black had worked together for some time prior to Episode 1, both working for the Hand of Sirius, with Black assigned as Draven's bodyguard. Angel and Little One also had a prior association, albeit a much briefer one: Angel was the first person Little One met after he left home, and they travelled together for a time.
Eventually the two groups met when a group of dire bears attacked a caravan near Corso's Chasm, and after joining forces to defeat them (the bears, not the caravan), they decided to work together for future adventures.
Dissolution[]
After Draven cured the Astral Plague, Angel saw no reason to stick around, and left with Mora to assassinate a Deluvian general. Draven left the hand to run his restored demense and Black was reassigned from bodyguard duty to a diplomatic mission from The Hand to The Gauntlet. With the others gone, Little One left with Daggerface and Liz to join Chrysanthemum von Christoff on a mission against some Orcs while Krillidin left with a woman he met in the streets of New Vanover to try to find a way back to the Feywild.
